WE’VE SENT OUR LIGHTING ON ANOTHER SPACE MISSION!

Previously, we participated in the unique space research project Hydronaut H03 Deeplap, as the name suggests, it took place underwater. Now, the center for simulating space missions has moved to the premises of the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), where scientists are studying life in space and its effects on human body and psyche. As part of our mission, we supplied Hydronaut with biodynamic and procognitive lighting, tasked with mimicking natural light.

Our Spectrasol lights contribute not only to comfort but especially to ensuring important biological and physiological processes of astronauts who venture into a spacecraft with a controlled atmosphere. The project itself is interesting because:

  • It is the 1st training center for simulating space missions.
  • With its area of 8m2, Hydronaut becomes the smallest isolated enclosed environment in the world.
  • It is the 1st station in the world to simulate space environment on land and underwater.
