CSThe annual lighting design competition held in Switzerland recognizes exceptional works from all corners of the world. We are particularly proud to have succeeded in the strong category of lamps with our biodynamic LED floor lamp Sunflow.
We entered the renowned global competition with our new biodynamic circadian LED floor lamp Sunflow. And we succeeded! It won in the category “Table Lamps, Floor Lamps,” which is a huge honor for our entire team.
What makes the lamp so special?
It brings a unique lighting system into our homes utilizing three patented technologies. The modes are in line with the 24-hour natural cycle, which positively influences, and above all, does not disturb, our circadian system.
The daytime mode, provided by the integrated LED module, mimics natural sunlight and is patented for its unique balanced and pro-cognitive properties. In the evening, the lamp provides “warmth” with its warm light, resembling a sunset, which soothes the body. The night mode is suitable for preparing for sleep. The lamp is easily controlled by pressing a button. Users can set the desired parameters in the app. Our team also considered sustainability, so Sunflow is manufactured in the EU from recyclable materials such as aluminum or steel. As for the design, we made sure to complement any contemporary interior with modern color combinations (or even a special wooden edition).
The annual lighting design competition recognizes exceptional works from all corners of the world. They are evaluated by an international jury composed of 51 renowned academics, professionals, journalists, entrepreneurs, and influential figures from the lighting industry.
The development and methodology of this device were created in collaboration with CTU UCEEB and NÚDZ in a project funded with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic under the TREND Program.
