CS“We smile when the sun shines on us,” says Hynek Medřický at the beginning of the lecture on light at the Modern Work conference. Indeed, light has a clear impact on our mood, as well as productivity and long-term health.
Together with Daniel Jesenský, they presented to the audience the benefits and possibilities of using light that simulates natural sunlight. We all need it much more than we think. According to research, the modern person spends 90% of their time indoors. They also discussed the fundamentals of the non-visual effects of light on the human body and the potential benefits of full-spectrum lighting for users. They introduced projects where lighting had been successfully applied to the audience.
